Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and...  drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERE auction is a 1999 Ford Ranger with 160k on the clock. I would rate the exterior of this Ranger to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific Ranger, there are a few blemishes in the paint from age and sun. The clear coat is pealing in spots and the paint is faded slightly. The body its self looks to be in good condition. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood and doors all open and close easily. I couldn't get the tailgate to open because I couldn't get the locking mechanism to corporate with me. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The seats show well and are comfortable. There is no center console in this truck. The crank windows and locks work properly. There is not much to say about this truck because of its trim package. But every seems to work as it should. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot. It has been a little cold to tell wether the air conditioner blows cold to not. The audio system is original and is working properly. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Ranger appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. I did get a check engine light while I was out on my road test. The code was P1400 (Differential pressure feedback electric sensor circuit low voltage). I will also add with that, that I couldn't get the 4WD to engage. So Im guessing that that sensor being bad is the problem. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints.
